Oil , the hidden weapon for Middle East

Oil as a Weapon in the Middle East The Middle East, home to some of the world's largest oil reserves, has long held strategic importance in global politics. While oil is a natural resource used for economic development, in the Middle East it has often been wielded as a powerful political weapon. Historically, the most famous example of oil being used as a weapon was during the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, when Arab members of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) imposed an oil embargo on countries that supported Israel, including the United States. This caused oil prices to quadruple and triggered a global energy crisis. It demonstrated the influence oil-rich Middle Eastern countries could exert on global affairs.Countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, and the UAE have used oil to gain political leverage. By controlling production levels and exports, they can impact the global oil market, affecting economies worldwide. Oil revenues also allow these states to fund forei...

Deforestation, destruction of climate

Deforestation Is Destruction of Climate Deforestation — the large-scale clearing of forests for agriculture, logging, infrastructure, or urban expansion — is one of the most severe threats facing our environment today. While it may serve short-term human needs, its long-term effects on our climate are devastating. Forests are not just a collection of trees; they are critical ecosystems that regulate the Earth’s temperature, store carbon dioxide, and support biodiversity. The destruction of these forests leads directly to the destruction of our climate. The Link Between Forests and Climate Forests act as the “lungs of the Earth.” They absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂), a major greenhouse gas, and release oxygen. When forests are cut down or burned, two things happen: the stored carbon is released into the atmosphere, and the Earth's ability to absorb future CO₂ is reduced. This double blow accelerates global warming. According to scientific estimates, deforestation is responsible for ne...

Changing Climates

Image
Changing climates and ups and downs in the weather have created some alarming situations. I belong to an Asian country where normal temperature in  June rises up to 45 c°. But in the recent year rains are creating differences among temperatures which are responsible for many diseases and no doubt Corona is on top of the list. This change in weather and atmosphere has really disturbed the routine life. Global warming is major cause of all the changes in atmosphere but these uncertain circumstances are alarming us to get ready for some more happenings in this Universe. Is The Creator of Universe testing us for the little knowledge we have about? Or something is going to be happen? It is still mystery.
